Smoked pork belly delivers a deep, tantalizing flavor. Apply your favorite rub emphasizing paprika and brown sugar, let it absorb the flavors, then slow-cook on a pellet grill for tender, flavorful meat. Perfect as a main course or sliced for sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork belly
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, onion powder
  • Wood chips: hickory or apple

Instructions

  1. Mix paprika, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and optional spices to make a dry rub.
  2. Apply the rub evenly over the pork belly and let it sit for several hours.
  3. Preheat your pellet grill to low heat (225–250°F / 107–120°C).
  4. Place pork belly on the grill using indirect heat, add wood chips for smoke.
  5. Cook slowly for 4–5 hours until meat is tender and fully infused with smoky flavor.
