Description

Pork belly tacos are a delicious fusion dish. They combine crispy meat with fresh toppings. Grill pork belly until the skin is golden and crunchy, then slice thinly and serve on warm tortillas with vibrant toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork belly
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas, warmed
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage slaw
  • Pickled onions
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Spicy aioli or sriracha mayo
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges


Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season pork belly with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill pork belly until the skin is golden and crispy, about 10–15 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  4. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing pork belly slices on warm tortillas.
  6. Add cabbage slaw, avocado slices, pickled onions, cilantro, and drizzle with spicy aioli.
  7. Squeeze lime over tacos and serve immediately.
